In a big week of television appearances, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats will perform for a second time this year on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and play on a CMT broadcast of Americanafest.
The band will perform a song from their current album, Tearing at the Seams, on the Late Show Monday, December 3rd at 11:35/10:35CT on CBS.
Americanafest took place in Nashville, TN in September 2018, culminating with an awards ceremony and performances by several leading country, Americana, gospel and roots artists at the Ryman Auditorium. CMT will broadcast the ceremony and show on Thursday, December 6th at 9pm ET/PT.
According to Billboard, “CMT will celebrate Americana music with 2018 Americanafest, a 90-minute special airing Dec. 6 on the network. The program will feature performances from the 17th annual Americana Honors & Awards ceremony held in September at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, as well as exclusive interviews with artists including Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Brandi Carlile, John Prine, Margo Price and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.”
