The 63rd annual Grammy Awards were announced March 14, 2021, with PJ Morton’s Gospel According to PJ taking the Grammy for Best Gospel Album. The album includes Scott Frock on trumpet. Much of the album was recorded during the pandemic from The Parlor Studio in New Orleans, and it was up against 2econd Wind: Ready by Anthony Brown & group therApy, My Tribute by Myron Butler, Choirmaster by Ricky Dillard, and Kierra by Kierra Sheard.
