A new episode of WSRE’s Studio Amped aired January 11 featuring Skate Mountain Records artist Jimmy Lumpkin and the Revival with the Red Clay Strays out of Mobile, Alabama and the Hornstars from New Orleans. The Hornstars are Scott Frock on trumpet, Jon Ramm on trombone and Brad Walker on saxophone. The trio backed Alabama-native Jimmy Lumpkin for the live studio recording of the Studio Amped episode and have appeared with Lumpkin at festivals and venues across the south.
