Mr. Armand Charbonnet, 84, local funeral director and business owner, was laid to rest after a traditional jazz funeral on July 20, with a full vigil and music-filled service preceding. The Uptown Jazz Orchestra, led by Delfeayo Marsalis, provided music and guest artists accompanied UJO during the church service.
