With over 20 years of professional trumpet playing under his belt, Scott Frock has become a staple in the New Orleans and U.S. music scenes, specializing in all types of music from Jazz to Rock, Country, Funk, Blues, R&B, Hip Hop and more. He has played with internationally touring acts Sturgill Simpson, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Delfeayo Marsalis’ Uptown Jazz Orchestra, Valerie June, The O’Jays, The Temptations, and Gladys Knight, as well as with unique musical projects such as Jazz Poets Society, Marc Broussard, Adrian Duke, and Samson Trinh’s Upper East Side Big Band.
Scott has appeared on The 59th Annual Grammy Awards, Saturday Night Live, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Conan, Jools Holland and more. Check out video clips from several performances on Scott’s video page.
Scott has played trumpet at major festivals and iconic venues across the world, such as New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Farm Aid, Willie Nelson’s Luck Reunion, Newport Folk Festival, Monterey Pop Festival, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival, Austin City Limits, Grand Ole Opry, Belgium’s Rock Werchter Festival, Mexico’s Corona Capital Festival, Americana Fest, the Ryman Auditorium, Johannesburg’s Joy of Jazz Festival and numerous others.
